Since you last heard from us in late April with the launch of our new website and redesigned blog, we've been extremely busy. There has been a tremendous increase in interest concerning our social profit consulting services and we've been in Tampa, Anchorage, Harrisburg, Austin, and Belgrade in the newly independent country of Serbia!

Much of our work in the States lately has focused on improving and sustaining the work of our nation's Youth Mentoring Programs. Since 1997, we have participated as keynote speakers, lecturers, and technical assistance providers at more than 25 regional mentor training conferences all around the country.

We contributed significantly to the development of the nation's first national mentor training curriculum, working closely with Public Private Ventures and the National Mentoring Center; and have served as a member of the NMC's Cadre of Experts, providing on-site technical assistance, teleconference lectures, and targeted resource materials. In the past few years we have focused on assisting Department of Education-funded mentoring initiatives and the work of the Mentoring Resource Center.

This month, we also went back to Serbia to train a terrific group of youth leaders, peer educators, and activists. With our help, these talented young people will lead the 10th International Summer School to Stop AIDS when it occurs on Mt. Kopaonik in Serbia in August.
